“Before working with Myrite I had been vegetarian for over 3 years. While spiritually I was thrilled that I was no longer responsible for animals being killed, my body was rebelling. I gained 20 lbs, felt awful and had no energy. She helped me realize how dangerous it is to link your entire identity and your sense of being to your way of eating. I was never militant, but I was certainly a proud vegetarian. So reintroducing meat was frankly life-altering. But I immediately felt better. Suddenly, I had the energy to go for long walks or to the gym. The weight melted off me without me feeling particularly deprived. But in changing my eating habits, I was forced to become less rigid in general. To understand that life is lived in shades of grey. After attending her Tasty Om workshop and having an Appetite to Thrive Breakthrough Session with her, I began to eat more consciously.
